Today, Tambaú produces about 60 products which are distributed to states in North, Northeast and Southeast Brazil. With more than 270 employees, it has become the largest employer in the semi-arid backlands of the Northeast.
Tambaú demands high quality raw materials, and therefore constantly monitors its suppliers as well as employing trained professionals on its fruit plantations. These professionals are supported by agronomists appointed by the company, with the objective of managing and checking the plantations, thus guaranteeing Tambaú’s high standards of quality.
The company has a 300 hectare irrigated plantation in the São Francisco Valley for the production of red guavas. This is an incentive to fruit-growing agribusiness in the region, as well as giving the company a great advantage with respect to its competitors. |

Tambaú constantly seeks to meet the needs of the consumer, adapting its products to the market demands, whilst always maintaining the quality and flavour of a healthy product. |
